The Caves Cape Grecko Cyprus

One of our remote and most tranquil dive sites, the Caves and Tunnels are arguably the most picturesque. Situated in the Cape Grecko National Park, it is one of the most natural unspoilt points of diving in Cyprus. A short walk off some rocks you instantly notice how crystal clear and stunning this dive is going to be. A perfect first impression that only builds on you during the dive.
Heading south from the shore you firstly make your way over the geological formation of lava rock with some breath taking images to take to mind. Accompanied with this, you have the streams of marine life ranging from creatures as small as Bearded Fire Worms, ornate wrasse and white bream, getting bigger to groupers octopus, moray eels and Turtles. Heading into the first swim through, beaming with natural light you are overwhelmed by amazement when after you exit, you turn to look back to see the rock formed in the shape of Cyprus. We give you time to fully take in the experience so far whilst looking in crevices for any specie which might be hiding before you reach the 2nd swim through. Here you swim down into a large hole exiting over an underwater rockery, again breath taking, leading you to Horse Shoe Cave. After exiting this tunnel you think there couldn’t be any more excitement on a dive but heading towards the exit you enter a cave we call the Blow Hole. This is where we exit, after you have finished taking in the experience of a life time and reflect on another amazing dive experience.
