What will I do?
You will join our DIVE TEAM for a period up to 12 weeks and learn first hand how the busy scuba centre operates on daily basis. You will be working closely with our Staff Instructors – with their guidance and experience you will expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level.
Gain experience
You will have a chance to learn how to use the compressor, basics of equipment servicing, how to use PADI online systems and most importantly you will be interacting with the customers in the dive shop and around dive sites as a part of our Dive Team.
Will I be used as slave labour ?

Frequently Asked Questions
What diving equipment do I need?
You’ll need a full set of dive gear for the duration of your Divemaster Internship Cyprus. BCD, regulator, and wetsuit rental are included free of charge. As a PADI Professional you are expected to have your own full set of equipment. If you don’t have some of the dive gear from the list, we offer attractive price discounts on equipment purchase in our dive shop for our Divemaster Interns.
Passing the Padi Divemaster Exams and Swimming Tests
If you’re not that comfortable in the water, it’s time to get into the pool and start practicing your swims. Start swimming a few laps once or twice a week for a few months before your course starts. Work your way up to 500m, adding a lap or two each week. That way, in the actual 400m test, you’ll have a bit of endurance left at the end. If you’re a man with a lot of muscle, practice your floating skills, as you might find it quite difficult to stay afloat for 15 minutes. Women generally find this one quite easy due to their higher body fat content
Divemaster knowledge reviews
I recommend that you get the Diving Knowledge Workbook and the Padi Divemaster crew pack before hand if possible and finish the reviews before you start your course. Also, read the entire Encyclopaedia of diving (if you can) and do the practice booklet before the course. Make sure you go over your incorrect answers and know them inside and out.
Diving theory
Physics, physiology and decompression theory is not that easy and does require basic math’s skills. So, if you’re weak in this area allow yourself extra study time and try to do most of it before the course starts. we will help you go over these important diving knowledge theory lessons. This will enable you to have much less stress on your course, so you can relax at the beach and get that massage instead of studying all the time!
