There are a few different of options when it comes to taking the PADI Divemaster course. PADI Divemaster Internships gives you the chance to see how real PADI Divemasters work in the dive industry environment setting, letting you participate and practice with hands on tuition from experienced Scuba Instructors. Our PADI Divemaster Internships Program is normally conducted over 6 – 8 week depending on your current dive certification start level and progression level.

Once a Divemaster, you can continue you education and become a (DSD) Discover Scuba Diving Leader. Apart from that, are you interested in teaching CPR and first aid? You can become an Emergency First Response Instructor. This EFRI course and teach how to assist injured and ill adults and children and AED Defibrillator, as long as you have current training in CPR, first aid for adults and children. To achieve the EFR Instructor rating this will cost Extra as this is one of many bolt-on-pro courses.

The Instructor internship includes all courses – open water, advanced o/w, EFR (medic/cpr) and rescue diver courses, Divemaster course PLUS your own full set of New MARES Professional scuba dive equipment including a "SUUNTO Gekko" air/nitrox Dive Computer.
All our internship programs include your manuals up to Divemaster level. Materials for your instructor course IDC are included in a Crew-Pak, which has all you need for you IDC. We also know how difficult and expensive it would be to find accommodation in the resort; we also include this in the cost of your Instructor internship.

Scuba Diving Internship - Work and Dive schemes Cyprus
PADI OWSI (Open Water Scuba Instructor) is the first instructor rating in the PADI system. This allows you to teach PADI Courses like, Scuba Diver, Open Water, Advanced, Rescue Diver, Divemaster. It’s a great rating and it gets your foot on the ladder to more fun and adventures as an Instructor. You must start somewhere; this allows those serious and dedicated individuals to enter the dive industry for employment.
PADI MSDT is an OWSI with diving specialties in areas of instruction, also you need to have certified a minimum of 25 students to gain this MSDT rating, put that under your belt. MSDT’s are instructors in 5 specialty diver areas – ie. Wreck diver, Deep diver, Enriched Air diver, Night diver and Drift diver. There lots of different specialities to choose. The divers can be trained in any area. We like to ensure that our MSDT candidate gets a good spectrum of experience in teaching by teaching Open water, Advanced, Rescue, DM and the specialty areas. This gives them great experience.
PADI Staff instructor you will gain your first taste of 'instructor training'. From this point you shall be working with the Course Director running the Instructor Development Course - Candidates. You will be assisting PADI CD Joey A. Ridge, with teaching and grading of new instructor candidates on their performance as potential instructors.
Staff instructors, This gives you a fantastic opportunity to see the other side of teaching the Assistant Instructors program. Not only does this rating show a dive centre or employer that you have some very good experience but, you take diving seriously and you are committed - it also opens a few more doors as many dive centres offer IDC's. It can be useful to the CD Joey A. Ridge on the IDC's and your commitment in their eyes, will increase. This rating will make you very employable.

Our interns for the scuba diving Master Scuba Diver Package, Divemaster Internship Package and Instructor Package. Receive a full set of dive gear / equipment.
It's good to become familiar with your equipment early through out your diver training. If you have to change or rent, different scuba equipment constantly, it takes some of the fun and safety out of diving. This is why we include your very own personal set "tools of the trade" to take with you. All of the equipment is made by major dive manufacturers MARES.
You'll get all the gear you see below, including your own personal SUUNTO Gekko dive computer. This is not just a bare necessities of kit or low quality products. You get all the nice extras, like a stainless steel dive knife, compass and boots for your Mares open-heel fins. Should you wish to upgrade, NO PROBLEM!
This equipment is yours to keep, regardless of whether you complete the internship or not. All of the equipment is sturdy and robust to the job of an active openwater scuba diving instructor.
(All of the dive gear packaged, that is given out from our shop is approximately €2430 Euro in value. If you wish to up-grade any of the equipment, then this is possible. Just ask to upgrade.)
